Which is partially why we have not been blogging. Miss Felicia and I have gotten up to a hundred and seventy four! =D We've also fallen in love with all that is Tumblr. It makes being MARSESSED soooo much easier! I definitely recommend trying it. You can find me at http://www.tumblr.com/tumblelog/ssjourneytomars and Felicia's is linked and I believe it is 'our journey to mars' instead of ss journey to mars.
Also for the record. Moving to Cali... sounds WONDEROUS!
&& we are sooo much closer to having funds for our concert addictions.
Hotels are booked, tickets, and vip status has been bought.
Can you say EXCITED?!

Recent Birthdays
=) Felicia recently turned 21, I 22, and Shannon 41!!
So difficult to believe with the lack of aging on the part of both Jared and Shannon Leto. =) Felicia and I have decided they are either Vampires, or Demigods. Felicia is on team Vamp but we've made the concession that it could be a mixture of both! =P
Currently we're both ...well almost both out of a job so we have had to push our mission to next summer instead of this, but that's alright because it will give us an extra 365 days to raise our money!! We're also looking into getting a summer job together that entails getting at least $12 an hour so I'm applying asap and taking in as much overtime as I can survive! && The latest news is that we have decided to go ahead and add in another two concert notches to our belts! These being in Canada so you can imagine the sacrifices we're going to need to make for that ;) Wish us luck!
Provehito in Altum!

Fell off the planet
So it has been a very long time since I have blogged but DO NOT FEAR! I did not lose any passion whatsoever or forget our Beloved 30SM!!! No, alas I've been busting my butt to make some more monies for our Mars Fund! I worked overnights for a week to get some extra hours to bring in some more income while on break from school only to switch back to days. OUCH! But sooo worth it. Also no worries about Felicia's Fleet being offline for a bit either. She also ran into a speedbump of sickness. But is muuuuuuch better now! =D
As far as MARS NEWS: There has been a new interview posted Whoo! which is quite interesting and in typical Mars fashion. So enjoy and when this author has gotten some more winks of sleep there shall be more posting WOO!

Baguette for Drumbsticks
So to say that Felicia and I are Marsessed is like saying a junkie doesn't have a problem. I can honestly say that last night we reached a peak. Singing to the steering wheel and blaring ' Search and Destroy' out the windows. But that's nothing compared to my enactment of Shannon's drumming with a Baguette in the local grocery store. Or the random belting of lyrics while rennacting once again Shannon, but his play on "No, No, No!" from Closer to The Edge. I am certain the poor workers thought that I was either recently released from the nuthouse, orrrr quite possibly fired up on drugs. Well what can I say? We had a good time =)
As far as new things, we've gotten ourselves tickets to two concerts in April and May and are pretty stoked. As far as our Mars Funds, I know mine isn't getting very far due to recent upheavals and my jobs unwillingness to give me hours =/ Though cans are still being brought back and random errands are still being done. We've got the drive to do this and I have faith that like the rest of the Echelon putting our minds to it will be enough to get the job done ;)
Wish us luck! && Don't forget to check out Felicia's Fleet my partner in crime; and the other half of the story =P

₪ ø lll ·o. Ce n'est pas la réalité. C'est un rêve.
Okay so maybe the title is from Hurricane; "This isn't reality, This is a dream" Buuut the song I've been obsessed with today is 'Closer To The Edge' Closer To The Edge Music Video Once again I am changing my mind and saying that this is my favorite song off of their album 'This Is War'.
It is an incredible song that I can honestly relate to the best and worst relationship of my life that has been on going for nearly four years. It explains exactly how I feel about the entire en devour. Though this is not the only reason why I love the song. It is ridiculously powerful and infectious. But the video is in a world all its own. Besides the AMAZING shots of live shows! The band has interviewed fans who are telling how MUSIC has impacted their lives and I have to say that I completely agree.
This band alone has inspired me to change my life, start this blog, and work towards helping others change their lives for the better, whether that means collect money for a charity or help them cross the street. I want to become a better person and I'm finally motivated to do it!
But on another note entirely, the extra video shots at the end of the band mates doing silly things during credits is worth the wait!
More later mes petite chouxs!

Hurricane week!
Dearest Echelon,
It's Hurricane week which means:: Promote the song week! Or the album. Basically spread the word. If you don't know what it is I'm talking about check it out : Video! =) Hurricane is one of the best songs on the album 'This Is War'. I'd say it is the best, but seeing how I am of the bias that most of the album is the BEST song on the album...it's excruciatingly difficult to take me seriously.
As to the life plan of saving money and working our buttock's off to be able to do the three day weekend of concerts and a MONTH of promotion! I currently have X amount of $$, X because I haven't been counting but the bottom of the jug is beginning to be covered already, Woot! Now to raise this X amont of funds I have been doing the following:
*Working my crummy job at Wally World once a week
*Babysitting
*Not doing anything fun that even remotely involves mula
*Collecting and returning cans
*Odd jobs around the house and getting paid for them
Any more ideas are MORE than welcome! We're willing to do just about anything at this point...Save working the corner. Though it may become a last resort... I'm talking about begging of course ;)

What are we doing here?!
Naturally, I have been stuck on earth these past 21 years along with the rest of the drones of this land. Yet I have been enlightened. I've been awoken to the joys of 30 Seconds To Mars. One of my best friends and I took a much shorter journey to see these amazing folks: Shannon Leto, Jared Leto, and Tomo Milicevic. It was life altering. These men are not only amazing musicians but they are doing something POSITIVE with their fame and popularity.
I have, along with my best friend been inspired to take our own journey to Mars, yet I am utterly convinced it will take much more than thirty seconds. Now are these just the ramblings of just another crazed fan? Possibly but we actually have a mission.
We are doing everything in our power to save and collect monies! This is going to help us not only attend a three day weekend of 30StM concerts but to help promote awareness to their music, but their missions. However this is not our only goal...Just a weekend of funnery. NO! We plan to take our summer and give it up to travelling the East coast sharing and promoting the wonderment that IS 30 Seconds to Mars, Find a few more Echelon members, maybe a few more fans, and make a few friends along the way.
This is our Journey. ENJOY!
If you want Felicia's take on our Journey...so It'll be like one of those awesome books with two protagonists... her version is Felicia's Fleet which is in conjunction with Shelley's Ship...
Now for real this time... Enjoy =)
